Does my child qualify?

A quick check for the new federal kids' savings account (officially called a Trump Account) and the one-time $1,000 Treasury deposit. Nothing you enter leaves this page.

1. Does your child have a valid Social Security number?

It must be an SSN valid for work (a card that says "Not Valid for Employment" doesn't count).

2. When was your child born?
or year only:

Only the birth year matters for these rules, so the year alone is enough.

3. Is your child a U.S. citizen?
4. Is it before January 1 of the year your child turns 18?

We work this out from the birth year and today's date, so you don't need to answer.
